Austin Peay offers flexible dual enrollment class options while you are still fully immersed in your high school life. You can take a college course taught by a credentialed high school teacher within your normal school day, or you could take a class your high school doesn't offer, online or on our main campus. And for those who want the greatest jump start on their college career, our entire Associate's Degree in University Studies is available to you -- in person, 100% online, or a little bit of both to meet your scheduling needs.

Dual Enrollment Requirements

In order to participate in the dual enrollment program at Austin Peay State University, you should first meet the following 365bet admissions requirements:

Be recommended by your high school principal or school counselor (see: High School Recommendation Form)
Have your parent's permission to enter the program (see: Parent Authorization Form)
Maintain a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 在4上.0规模 OR have earned a 21 composite 行为 score.

Note: Although you may be admitted to the program by meeting the above criteria, some entry-level courses will require college-level (行为 or equivalent) or high school scores:

ENGL 1010: 行为 E-18, 行为 R-19 or A/Bs in High School English and History
MATH 1010 or MATH 1710: 行为 M-19 or A/Bs in High School Algebra II
MATH 1530: 行为 M-19, 行为 E-18, 行为 R-19 or A/Bs in High School English, History, and Algebra II
CHEM 1010/1011: 行为 M-19, 行为 E-18, 行为 R-19 or A/Bs in High School English, History, and Algebra II

We can accept the following test scores:

365bet will accept the reading P坐 score for both English and Reading college-level requirements. 坐 Evidence-Based R/W scores are used for both English and Reading.

Other High School Student Enrollment Types

Take classes for college credit 只有. Otherwise, the requirements and process are the same as for dual enrollment.

Academically Talented (AT) is another category designed primarily for students in the 9^th or 10^th 年级*. In order to participate in the Academically Talented program, you should first meet the following 365bet admission requirements:

Be enrolled in 年级 9th or 10th in a public or private high school.*
提交 the dual enrollment online application.
Have a cummulative, unweighted high school GPA of 3.2 or higher (在4上.0规模) per an official transcript from your high school.
Provide a recommendation of the high school principal and approval of placement as part of the student’s high school academic plan.
Receive recommendation and approval of the 365bet Director of Admissions.

Once in the 11th or 12th 年级s, students generally apply for dual or joint enrollment admission.
*At this time, 9^th 和10^th 年级 students are not eligible for the TN Dual Enrollment Grant.

This category of applicants includes students entering 365bet full-time, prior to completion of high school diploma requirements, and beginning after junior year. Applicants for early admission must:

提交 the dual enrollment online application.
提交 a high school cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.2 or higher (在4上.0规模).
提交 an 行为 composite score of at least 22 (or 坐 composite score of at least 1020).
Provide a recommendation of high school principal or school counselor and consent of parent(s) or guardian(s).
Provide a written statement from high school principal specifying college courses that will be substituted for remaining high school courses needed for high school graduation.
